While Hemp Hearts are easy to use to gain nutritional benefits there are a few guidelines to keep in mind for a smooth integration into your life.
  1. Eat at least 5 tablespoons daily. This is the minimum Hemp Hearts you need to eat daily to experience any health benefits.  Adding a few Hemp Hearts to a recipe or sprinkling them over your food will do nothing for your health.
  2. Eat them in the morning. Since Hemp Hearts are mainly protein and fat, your body can burn them slowly, sustaining your energy throughout the day.  If you eat them too late in the day, you may feel restless at night or have a difficult time sleeping.
